Privacy policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy explains what information SHO collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using SHO you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your username, the name you show to other players, and your password (stored only as a secure hash, never as plain text).
  • Sign-up details: your gender, email address, contact (mobile) number, country and state or dzongkhag. You can change them at any time in My account.
  • Password reset codes: when you ask for one, a 6-digit code is sent to your email or by SMS to your number. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of the code, for 10 minutes of use.
  • Game records: the games you play, moves, results, and your coin balance and history.
  • Wallet and donations: when you recharge, cash out or donate, the amount, payment method, journal or transaction number, the name on the paying or receiving account, your bank account number or PayPal / Payoneer email for payouts, and any receipt picture you upload. Receipts are stored privately and only admins can see them. We use these details only to check and make payments and to keep the records the law requires; we never ask for card numbers or banking passwords.
  • Messages you send with the contact form, including the email address you give us so we can reply.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our server keeps basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request) for security and to fix problems.

How we use it

We use this information to run your account and your games, show results and leaderboards, keep the site secure and fair, answer your messages, and improve SHO. We use your email address and number only for your account, for example to send a password reset code: never for advertising, and we do not give them to advertisers. Codes by email or SMS are delivered through the email and SMS services the site uses. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

SHO uses a session cookie to keep you logged in and to protect forms against misuse. Your browser's local storage remembers small preferences, such as whether game sounds are on. These are needed for the site to work.

Advertising

SHO may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to SHO and/or other sites on the internet.

Some features let you choose to watch a rewarded video ad in exchange for virtual coins. Watching is always optional.

Who can see what

Other players can see your display name, your games with them and your coin total on the leaderboard. Your username, email, contact number, gender, country, state and password are never shown to other players. The site admins can see your sign-up details to help with your account.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your account while it is in use. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time through the contact page.

Children

SHO is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
